Initial Consultation
Initial consultations are scheduled through our intake system. They are 30 minutes, conducted via Zoom video conference, paid up front through our scheduling tool, and provide a written entity-selection recommendation tailored to your situation.
Formation Retainers
We form Georgia LLCs and corporations under hourly retainers. Funds are paid into our trust account and billed against attorney time at the rates below.

The retainer covers entity formation, the operating documents (operating agreement or bylaws), EIN application, post-formation compliance setup, founder stock issuance with vesting (corporations), 83(b) elections (where applicable), and initial member resolutions or organizational consents.
Hourly rate after retainer hours are exhausted: $400 per hour for non-litigation work; $500 per hour for litigation.
Outside Counsel Service Plan
After formation, ongoing legal counsel is available on a standby basis. Choose the cadence that fits your business.

Plan members receive:
- $50 per hour discount on business formation work for any subsidiary entities

Plan funds are placed in our IOLTA trust account and billed against attorney time at the applicable plan rate.

Costs Not Included in Retainers
These are paid separately from the retainer:
- Georgia Secretary of State filing fees ($100 online for Articles)
- Newspaper publication for new corporations (~$50)
- Federal trademark filing fees (USPTO), if applicable
- Local business license fees (varies by county/city)
- Annual registration ($50 per year, ongoing)
- Third-party services (registered agent, bookkeeping, etc.)
